there’s a hedge cut like a huge worm or snake monster (typheus or one of the other denisen. there’s a skull in back yard that has bull horns (kinda like tavros). theres also some other horse related things on the inside of the house.ģ. theres my little ponys (at least thats what they look like) everywhere there’s a painting of a horse and a classic hoofbeast statue outside. its a mess this could likely be because joey and jude live three alone this theory is also supported by the house being overgrown on the outside and the fact that there’s monsters everywhere and no adults are doing anything about it.Ģ. she has a light aspect symbol on her ceiling pointing to the fact that shes a light player, she uses a flashlight as a weapon in the trailer as well so this could lead to her being a knight of light (weaponising light) but also the light aspect is usually used to signify the sun in homestuck so it could easily mean nothing at all.ġ. oh my the references, joey owns a super nintendo, she has a poster for bubsy, tetris 2, mother 2, final fantasy v, super metroid, tiny toon adventures, the never ending story, are you afraid of the dark, dirty dancing, and my little pony, (eee i love references)Ģ. Jodeys room has some cool stuff but is mostly just toys (pretty adorable) but ill list the things that were cool here:ġ. maybe he’s trying to teach himself alternian? there’s carvings on his wall which somewhat look like an alien language. but lets be honest it looks like he’s just tracking alien sightings on it.Ħ. you can visibly see california so maybe this game takes place in the us. pigeons….he keeps pigeons i guess… sorta like commander holly (ross from the game grumps wife) that’s pretty cool tooĥ. that sorta just looks like ancient pixel art which combines 2 of my interests so yaknow yayĤ. man i would love it if we got a kid who really liked cryptid that’d be awesome.ģ. conspiracy theories about aliens, big foot and other cryptids probably. i just thought these were cool maybe they have something to do with him liking science and sci fi?Ģ. There’s allot of cool stuff in judes roomġ. There are multiple multiple shots of a small house which i presume to be the dogs house (the wiki says the name is There is allot of blue girls which isn’t much of a surprise, english loves his blue girls. There’s allot of things that look allot like smuppets which is pretty interesting.
The art style seems to be very much the classic homestuck style (in fact its pretty much that) i noticed its colored very much like hero mode tho which is interesting, there’s usually only outlines outside of characters or maybe the monsters are versions of the denizen or maybe there are smaller versions of them as animals in this universe. maybe suggesting denizen are mythological creatures in this universe. I noticed a familiar face while analyzing the trailer…that looks quite a bit like typheus (johns denizen) to me. if i get anything wrong please message me and ill fix it. (this may be a long post) i plan on making a few follow up posts on putting more detail on these things. So i pretty much just watched the trailer and screenshotted all the interesting things i noticed in the hiveswap act 1 trailer so im gonna go through those now.
